In every family system, certain roles quietly emerge over time. Some people avoid conflict. Some drift in and out of responsibility. Some resist structure altogether. And occasionally, one person becomes the stabilizing force that keeps everything from collapsing under the weight of its own imbalance. For many years, that person was me. Not because I consciously chose the role, but because life circumstances slowly shaped it that way. What began as survival eventually bec
